Notice of Meeting of the Local Board of Canvassers
At the close of voting on Election Day, pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. § 19.84, the Election Inspectors at each polling place will convene as the Local Canvassing Board for the purpose of conducting the local canvass pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 7.51. This meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 19.81-89.
In-person absentee voting for Town of Fremont residents will take place Monday, October 26 through Friday, October 30 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm each day at the Fremont Town Hall, E7403 State Rd 110. Please be sure to bring your photo ID. If you are not registered to vote and would like to vote absentee, you may also register during this time. You must bring an acceptable proof of residence document with your name and current address on it, such as a WI driver license/ID card, utility bill, or bank statement.
Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC TEST of the electronic voting equipment to be used for the November 3, 2020 General Election, will be conducted on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fremont Town Hall, E7403 State Road 110, Fremont, in accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes Chapter 5.84(1). This test is open to the general public and all are welcome to attend.
The election will be here before you know it!! With all the hype out there, we wanted to share the various ways Town of Fremont residents can cast their ballot.
1. Come to the polls in person on November 3. Polls will be open 7 am to 8 pm, and our staff is ready, willing and able to accommodate you. We look forward to seeing you!
2. Vote in-person absentee. Starting Monday, October 26 through Friday October 30th, the town hall will be open daily from 9 am to 5 pm for you to come in and cast your absentee ballot. Bring your photo id with you.
3. Request an absentee ballot through the mail. Go to myvote.wi.gov and request a ballot be sent to you.
