Weight Limits – Updated

 

Casey Beyersdorf, Highway Commissioner for Waupaca County Highway Department has announced that Spring weight limit restrictions will end Wednesday, April 1st, 2020 at 12:01 a.m.  Signs will begin to be removed at that time and enforcement of the limits will end.

 

The Highway Department thanks all those involved for their patience during the entire weight limit season.

PRESS RELEASE

 

Casey Beyersdorf, Highway Commissioner for Waupaca County Highway Department has announced that Spring weight limit restrictions will begin Wednesday, March 4th 2020 at 12:01 a.m. When the highways become firm, the Spring weight limit restrictions will be lifted.

 

Permit forms, maps and additional information can be found at www.co.waupaca.wi.us/highway in the left tool bar. The seasonal weight restriction will be six ton load for a single axle vehicle and ten ton load for a tandem axle vehicle.

 

These Spring weight limitations will be enforced pursuant to Section 349.16 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
