Dog Licenses Are Due March 31st


Rabies Vaccinations and Dog Licenses are Required

Please be reminded that pursuant to Sec. 174.05(2), Wis. Stats., notice is hereby given to all owners of dogs in the Town of Fremont, Waupaca County that rabies vaccinations and dog licenses are required by March 31, 2018, and that late fees will be assessed as of April 1, 2018.

Wis. Stats. 95.21(2) requires that dogs be vaccinated for rabies by a veterinarian at no later than 5 months of age and revaccinated within one year after the initial vaccination and every 3 years thereafter. We do not keep paper copies of rabies information on file, proof of current immunization against rabies must be presented at the time the license is requested. We must see this information every year.  If you cannot find your dog’s rabies shot certificate, please contact your veterinarian for a duplicate copy.

License Fee Schedule:

Neutered or Spayed Dog = $ 3.00

Un-Neutered or Un-Spayed Dog = $ 8.00

Kennel License = $35.00 for 12 dogs, $3.00 for each additional dog over 12

Any applications received after March 31st will be assessed an extra $5.00 per dog.

Mail the rabies certificate, license fee made payable to the Town of Fremont and a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your documents and new license to:
